TGIWF - Traveling in the Denver Blizzard of 2006

I've got give thanks that I work for such a understanding executive. I flew TGIWF and another co-worker to Seattle on Tuesday and guess what? They got stuck! Most of you reading my blog are from Denver and have lived through the latest blizzard first hand, so you know that DIA, the airport that never closes CLOSED! TGIWF and our friend were stranded in Seattle!

With the help of the internet and my old friend Lynn at James Travel, we were able to secure flights today from Seattle to Eugene, OR. Then got them on a connection flight from Eugene, OR back to Denver. They have been sitting in Eugene for roughly eight hours now and have been so grateful throughout the entire ordeal.

I rented the movie The Devil Wears Prada on Tuesday night and laughed out loud when Glenn Close's character called her assistant for a similar request to "GET HER HOME" in a hurricane. I am truly lucky to work with two incredibly understanding and appreciative people. Thanks guys!

Call me crazy…Phill and I are moving in together and I’ve just placed my condo on the market.  I’m sure it will take some time to sell, so we’ll have some time to get used to the change.  Click here to see the listing.

Ok...I admit it.  Bo M. got me into watching Studio 60.  I was touched when I finally watched my Tivo'd episode from Monday night to see the following performance.  Merry Christmas!
